The Power of Offsite Fabrication

Traditional on-site building is at the mercy of unpredictable British weather, leading to delays, material degradation, and rising labor costs. By moving the majority of the build process into a controlled factory environment, our off-site fabrication methods eliminate these risks entirely.

  • Millimetric Precision: Our components are manufactured using advanced computerised detailing, ensuring perfectly straight walls, accurate window openings, and structurally flawless panel alignments.
  • Minimal On-Site Waste: Because every component is cut and assembled to exact specifications before delivery, material waste on your site is practically zero, reducing skip hire and disposal costs.
  • Rapid On-Site Assembly: Once delivered to your site in Herts, Beds, or Bucks, the prefabricated wall panels, floor cassettes, and roof trusses can be erected in days rather than weeks.

Flexible Options: Supply Only vs. Supply & Install

We understand that every construction project is managed differently. As flexible timber frame specialists, we offer two distinct pathways to suit your project management style:

Timber Frame Supply Only

Ideal for experienced main contractors, developers, or self-builders who already have their own trusted carpentry teams on-site. We engineer, manufacture, and deliver the complete structural kit directly to your site, complete with comprehensive layout drawings and fixing schedules for your team to follow.

Supply and Installation Service

If you want complete peace of mind, our own highly trained and insured team will handle both the manufacturing and the on-site timber frame construction. Choosing this option means we retain full accountability for the structure from the design phase right up until it is handed over to you, watertight and ready for internal fit-out.

Money-Saving Tip for Self-Builders: If you choose our comprehensive Supply and Install service for a qualifying new build residential home, the entire timber frame package can often be zero-rated for VAT, providing a significant boost to your project’s cash flow.

Sustainable, Certified Timber Components

We take environmental responsibility seriously. All structural timber used in our fabrication process is strictly sourced from sustainably managed forests with full FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) chain-of-custody tracking.

By choosing timber frame supply over traditional masonry, you are utilising a building material that naturally captures and stores carbon, drastically improving the overall environmental footprint and SAP ratings of your new development.

Having a bespoke manufactured kit is only half the battle. Discover how our professional timber frame builders handle the on-site timber frame construction.

Frequently Asked Questions about our Timber Frame Supply Service

While every project is bespoke, a typical structural timber frame kit includes factory-insulated open-panel external walls, internal load & non load-bearing partitions, intermediate floors (including joists and decking), and the complete roof structure (either prefabricated trusses or a loose cut-timber roof). All structural glulam beams, steelwork components and specialised fixings required for assembly are also supplied.

Lead times vary depending on the current factory capacity and the complexity of your design. Generally, once the final structural design is approved and signed off by the client, fabrication takes approximately 3 to 6 weeks. We advise getting in touch during your early planning stages so we can reserve a slot in the production schedule.

Our kits are carefully packed, sequenced by assembly order, and delivered to your site using specialised heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Because components are delivered in stages as you need them, it minimises the amount of storage space required on-site.
